Aiming to encourage new projects in the area of technology and digital media, the second edition of the Brazil-Canada 3.0 International Conference is promoting interaction between ten Brazilian and ten Canadian Start-ups. The Conference will be held on December 5 and 6, in João Pessoa, in the state of Paraíba. The candidates will also participate at the event as exhibitors.
The Canadian Start-ups coming to Brazil have already been chosen and their participation at the event is confirmed. With the support of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI) and Apex, through the program Start-Up Brazil, ten Brazilian companies are being selected to be a part of this opportunity.
According to the trade commissioner of the Canadian Consulate, Fernanda Whitaker, in addition to keynotes and panels, the conference also offers a special round table dedicated to discussion, collaboration and stimulation of specific Brazilian and Canadian Start-up projects. This round table will be comprised of networking sessions and exclusive guidance for companies participating in João Pessoa. There will also be a program dedicated to industry on December 3 in São Paulo, including a competition that will be judged by a group of investors.
"We believe that both the competition in São Paulo and the program in João Pessoa will provide Brazilian start-ups with the opportunity to identify possible business openings, a broad and qualified network of new contacts, in addition to an excellent chance to discuss experiences and accelerating international trends in entrepreneurship”, Fernanda explained
